Isaiah "Bud" Haines Jr. of Southampton, N.J., passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. He was 74. Born in Mount Holly, N.J., Mr. Haines resided in Fanwood, N.J., for 20 years and returned to live in Southampton, N.J., for the remainder of his life. He served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Berlin Crisis. He started working for Liberty Mutual Insurance immediately after his return and retired in 2000 as a regional sales manager after over 35 years of employment. Father of the late Garrett David and Juleanne, he is survived by two children, Karen Anne Storch (Craig), Kristin Marie Tiano (Marc); three grandchildren, Hazel Maria Storch, Samuel Isaiah Storch, Cora Evelyn Tiano; a sister, Nancy Ryan (Donald); his former wife and friend, Julia Haines, and numerous cousins, especially Susan, Connie and Gus. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pemberton United Methodist Church, 45 Hanover St., Pemberton, N.J. Interment will be private. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Whitesbog Preservation Trust, 120-34 Whitesbog Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
