John Hinemon Grant, formerly of Fair Haven, passed away at home on

After graduating in 1961 from Bordentown Military Institute in New Jersey, he chose to pursue the same path. In 1965, John graduated from Pennsylvania Military College and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Serving for 20 years, he had a very distinguished military career. John served two tours of duty in Vietnam and flew A-4 fighter jets. He earned a Bronze Star Medal and three Navy Commendation Medals (among others) before retiring in 1985 as a Lieutenant Colonel. John earned graduate degrees from both Pennsylvania Military College and the University of Southern California. We can all be proud that men like John Grant choose to serve our country.

Together they provided their services and products to military and law enforcement agencies to help   keep all of us safer.
