Richard Daniel Kenyon, age 79, of Gilbert, PA passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 28, 2012. He was born on September 14, 1933 in Queens, NY and had resided in Clinton, NJ for many years before moving to Gilbert, PA. He was the son of the late Lee John and Bessie Ailine Rascovar Kenyon and brother of the late Joan K. Weinstein. He was the loving husband of Jessie M. Perkins Kenyon for 49 years. Richard was a proud alumnus of Bordentown Military Institute (BMI). He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in May 1955 with the rank of Corporal. Upon completion of his military service, Richard graduated from Rutgers University College of Agriculture in 1960. He was the Co-owner and President of Presco Food Products in Flemington, NJ. After his retirement he worked/consulted for various companies and enjoyed driving a limousine. Richard previously served on the Clinton Town Council for 2 terms. He was a former leader of the Stanton Senior Youth Group who affectionately called him "Daddy K". He was a licensed private pilot who had a passion for flying. He was an avid Giants fan who attended their games since the late 1950's. Above all else he was a loving and devoted husband and father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons; Brian K. Kenyon of Purcellville, VA, Scott L. Kenyon and his wife Carla of Jamison, PA and Patrick W. Kenyon and his wife Jody of Asbury, NJ and 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by 2 nieces; Susan Albert of Pittstown, NJ and Kathy Palmer of Westin, FL and predeceased by his nephew, Steven Weinstein.

As per the deceased wishes, no calling hours will be scheduled. An informal memorial gathering of friends and family will be announced at a later date.
